HI! I’m Melissa Johnson, I am a Junior, Business Administration major from Redlands, California.
In my first semester at Belmont, I took Digital Citizenship with Dr. Sybril Brown and her course left an imprint on my brain forever. I was taken aback by how much technology is going to be dictating our futures and how many of us don’t know about policies, products, or legal cases that are going on around the world all centered around social and digital media.
After having the opportunity to intern for a year at Hustle Media here in Nashville as a social media account manager, I have seen the back end of social media transactions and analytics, all of which are unknown to many social media consumers.
I am passionate about educating others about the aspects of social media that they might not be aware of and giving them the tools to speak on one of these topics to another person!
